On September 18, 2025, Tashkent hosted the Cash Expert Seminar 2025, organized by BS/2. The event became one of the region’s key professional platforms, bringing together representatives of more than 20 banks from Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, and Lithuania, as well as delegates from the Central Bank and the Association of Banks of Uzbekistan. Throughout the day, participants discussed current trends in cash circulation management, shared best practices in implementing innovative technologies, and reviewed practical cases of optimizing cash operations.
Special attention was given to the Cash Management.iQ solution, presented by Product Manager Kirill Degtyarenko together with Regional Markets Lead (Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan) Vladimir Alekseev. The experts highlighted key automation scenarios for cash circulation processes and emphasized the core benefits of the system, including:
- real-time cash balance monitoring,
- demand forecasting by currency and denomination,
- optimization of cash-in-transit (CIT) routes,
- reduced operating costs and increased process transparency.
Participants emphasized the practical value of the solution: integrating Cash Management.iQ with self-service device networks, along with additional modules such as Vault.iQ and Cash Processing.iQ, helps reduce the number of cash-in-transit operations, optimize cash handling, and improve internal efficiency.
Live technology demos and real-life use cases
The seminar also featured demonstrations of modern banknote counting and sorting technologies. Among them were the Julong JL305 and Magner 2000F devices, already well-established in Uzbekistan’s banking and hospitality sectors. A practical case from Oscar Boutique Hotel in Tashkent showcased the use of the Magner 2000F: the device speeds up banknote counting, reduces the risk of errors, and allows staff to devote more attention to guest service. This example clearly demonstrated that advanced solutions optimize cash handling not only in banks but also across other industries.
Cash Expert Seminar 2025 confirmed the strong interest of Central Asian banks in cash management automation. The feedback collected during the event will serve as a foundation for further development of Cash Management.iQ to better meet the needs of financial institutions across the region.
