In 2025, the BS/2 team significantly expanded the functionality of the Cash Management.iQ software platform and enhanced support for cash counting and sorting equipment. Here are the key product updates and plans for 2026.
What is Cash Management.iQ
Cash Management.iQ is a software platform for managing cash flows in financial institutions. It handles the full cycle of cash management tasks: real-time monitoring of balances in ATMs, vaults and cash desks, forecasting cash demand, automatic planning of cash collections, route and team management, recording of vault operations and performance analytics.
The modular structure allows implementation to begin with basic functions and expand functionality as required. The platform is used by banks, cash-in-transit companies and ATM network operators in Europe, Central Asia and Africa.
New platform features
Single-currency cash collection
Previously, loading ATM cassettes required replenishment of all currencies at once. Now, it is possible to place an order only for the currency whose balance has actually fallen below the threshold value. This feature operates throughout the entire cycle: monitoring, planning, order generation, balancing and transactions in the ATM system.
The feature has been implemented at Bank of Georgia and has enabled a significant reduction in daily cash balances across the ATM network. At the same time, the availability of funds for customers has not been affected.

Mobile apps for cash collectors and cashiers
Two separate apps address the most vulnerable point in the cash collection process – the unmonitored handover of bags. The cash collector scans a QR code when loading a bag into the vehicle, and the cashier scans it upon receipt in the storage area. Each bag is automatically assigned to the relevant order in the system, and the handover status is visible to all parties involved in the process.v

Electronic signatures in documents
For each user, it is now specified in which document and exactly where their personal signature should appear. It is uploaded once and automatically inserted when documents are generated. In the future, there are plans to completely phase out the printing and manual signing of supporting documentation.

Cash Processing.iQ Development
The cash processing module has been enhanced with additional functionality for managing cashier shifts. Integration with ‘Cash Recount’ and Vault.iQ has begun. The list of supported equipment has been expanded to 13 models, including: G&D BPS, Kisan, Julong, Glory, Magner and CPS XRange.
ML forecasting via an open API
In a project with TBC Bank (Georgia), Cash Management.iQ has been integrated for the first time with an external machine learning-based forecasting service. The open API allows any bank to connect its own ML model without altering the standard cash collection planning process.

Kirill Degtyarenko, Product Owner, Cash Management.iQ, BS/2:
«Our aim is to cover all cash handling processes across all cash collection and dispensing points. Every implementation adds to our expertise: complex integrations with SFour kiosks, real-time cash collection routes, and ML forecasting are new building blocks in the foundation of a unified cash management platform. By 2026, we plan to complete the automation of all manual steps in the cash management cycle. »

Roadmap for 2026
In 2026, we plan to further develop the product’s functionality:
- Automatic generation of ATM restocking requests and automatic detection of cassette counters: these changes will remove the final manual step from the main cycle.
- Expansion of the mobile app (route and cash collection monitoring) and integration with ‘Cash Recount’ for monitoring balances.
- Launch of cash-in-transit forecasting for vaults and bank branches.
The strategic goal of the product’s development is to create a unified platform that manages the entire cash lifecycle: from ordering at the central bank, through the vault and collection, to dispensing to the customer via an ATM, kiosk or branch counter.
If your bank or cash-in-transit company is looking to reduce cash management costs, improve ATM availability and eliminate manual processes from the cash-in-transit workflow, we would be delighted to demonstrate the platform.
BS/2 specialists will analyse your infrastructure, demonstrate the system using real-world data, and propose the optimal configuration of modules.
